- One of Bhutan’s early dry port and inland clearance facility projects, combining logistics planning, customs-bonded infrastructure design, and hydrological risk assessment to strengthen cross-border trade facilitation.
- The project strengthened Bhutan’s hinterland connectivity and trade facilitation by aligning infrastructure design with environmental risk mitigation and international customs requirements.
Brief scope of work
- Design and detailed engineering for entire dry port complex components
- Conducting geotechnical and topography survey
- Hydrology study for adjoining rivers and river training works
- Layout configuration based on the import and export volume and finalization of cargo handling equipment
- Preparation of design, detailed construction drawing, bill of quantities, cost estimate, preparation of tender document for EPC contract
- Total area of the site is 55.67 Acres
